Gavin Powell, British keyboardist for triple Platinum selling artist Emeli Sandé recently purchased a Nord Stage 2 HA88, just in time for the band's acclaimed sell-out show at the Royal Albert Hall. That concert was filmed and is set for release on CD & DVD next week, on 18th February 2013.
“I really enjoy playing my Nord Stage 2 as it is very hands on and easy to use”, says Gavin. "The sounds are extremely authentic and it equips me with a wide variety to use on all genres of music”.
At the age of 20, Gavin landed his first arena tour with Platinum selling artists N-Dubz, which also led him to taking part in his first live DVD recording with the group at the 02 Arena in London.
With 2012 Brit Awards Critics’ Choice Emeli Sandé, Gavin has already completed a European & American arena tour supporting Coldplay, as well as Emeli’s own headlining American and UK tour, which included the Royal Albert Hall show.

Gavin also played on four tracks of Emeli’s album ‘Our Versions of Events’, one of them being ‘Read all about it III’, which Gavin played alongside Emeli live at the closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics.
