Nord event to take place on Thurs June 9th June at South and City College, Birmingham.
On the 9th of June we have the great pleasure of welcoming the fantastic Steve Turner to South and City College for a Nord evening in conjunction with Professional Music Technology.
As well as exclusive product demos and tutorials from Steve, attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on with Nord keyboards across the entire product range - including the flagship Nord Stage 2 EX Series, the new Electro 5 series and Nord Drum 2. The event will also feature the very first public appearance of the brand new Nord Piano 3.
In the early years, a love of electronic music led Steve Turner to writing and producing House music, joining the internationally acclaimed production team Uno Clio and remixing singles for many major artists including Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson and Mary J Blige.
With a desire to travel, Steve jumped at the opportunity to get on his first tour which was with Louise Nerding (Eternal). That started the ball rolling, and over the last ten years he's toured the world playing festivals and arenas with many major bands and artists including Sugababes, All Saints, Anastacia and 4 tours with Kylie Minogue. He also joined the band for the London leg of Jay-Z's Kingdom Come tour accompanying special guest Beyoncé, a career highlight! He's also had some memorable live TV performances including The Tonight Show (Jay Leno), The Late Show (David Letterman), and Later with Jools Holland.
Recent events include world tours with Jeff Wayne's 'The War Of The Worlds' & Clannad. Steve was also in the TV house band for BBC's The Voice UK and is currently scoring for film. ‘Property Of The State' is an Opix production directed by Kit Ryan, produced by Terrance Ryan and is debuting at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
