Washburn Guitars is proud to introduce to its Bluegrass Series a unique Mandolin Banjo. Enabling mandolin players to emulate banjo tones as well as being a bit louder than a standard mandolin, the Mandolin Banjo will add a new dimension to your performances.

Based on Washburn’s Mandolin Banjos of the 1910s and 1920s, the BM3 is a 4 chorus 13.75” scale Mandolin Banjo. It features a walnut rim and resonator back plate which maximises volume, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard- a classic combination that provides rich full tone, and open gear tuners for a traditional look. The resonator is also removable to drop the volume for more intimate venues or performances. The genuine Remo head supports a maple bridge with ebony tip. Tuned like a mandolin, G-D-A-E, the BM3 opens up a whole new world of sonic possibilities.
