Washburn Guitars is proud to introduce the EA40SCE electro-acoustic guitar. Designed for stage performance, the EA40SCE is based on the original, feedback resistant, thinline Festival Series body style.
The EA40SCE is a thinline jumbo style electro-acoustic guitar with a Florentine cutaway for extended upper fret access. The guitar features a book matched solid Alaskan Sitka spruce top with quarter sawn scalloped bracing and stunning flame maple back and sides. A smooth satin finished maple neck offers playing comfort and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The bound flame maple capped headstock features a pearl inlaid Washburn logo and stylized W as well as elegant gold Washburn die cast tuners. The unique soundhole rosette features mahogany and maple hinge motifs.
The EA40SCE is well suited to live performance due to its feedback reducing thin body and features Fishman Presys+ electronics for superb natural sounding amplified tone. The Presys+ includes a built in tuner with notch and phase controls further reducing the possibilities of feedback.
The EA40SCE is expected to arrive in the UK Q2 2013 with pricing to be confirmed.
