Washburn Guitars proudly introduces a new addition to its Vintage Series, the WJ130EK jumbo electro-acoustic guitar. The Vintage Series recreates the style, vintage look and feel of some of the great Washburn instruments that were crafted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The WJ130EK is a jumbo style electro-acoustic guitar and features a Sitka spruce top with quarter sawn scalloped bracing and beautiful rosewood back and sides. The guitar also features a rosewood fingerboard and bridge with a compensated bone saddle and nut.
Aesthetic touches include an abalone soundhole rosette and cream multi-laminate binding with rope purfling. The rosewood capped headstock features a pearl Washburn logo and distressed Wilkinson brass butter bean tuners. Pearl snowflake inlays also adorn the fingerboard. As with all instruments in the Vintage Series, the WJ130EK has a vintaged finish to mimic the look of a 100 year old instrument.
The Washburn WJ130EK includes a passive piezo pickup mounted under the bridge for live performance. A vintage style hardshell case is also included.
