EBS Sweden AB and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd are pleased to announce an upgrade to the acclaimed HD350 amplifier, the new EBS HD360.
At a time when trends in the music industry are moving toward meeting customers demand for less expensive gear rather than focusing on satisfying the highest demands for top-notch sound quality, EBS has taken a bold step and come full circle with the release of the new HD360 bass head.
The EBS High Definition (HD) bass amp was originally launched in 2001. Upon release, it immediately caught the attention of Marcus Miller, who became an ambassador for the HD350. The connection helped establish EBS as a top brand for non-compromising bass players around the world. The HD350 has been acknowledged for it’s extremely well designed preamp and is a common sight on studio sessions by high profile artists ever since, including bass masters such as Alex Al (Michael Jackson/Paul Simon) and Tal Wilkenfeld.
The HD360 is a Solid State, 100 % analogue bass amp featuring a drive control with Tube Emulated Drive, EBS renowned built-in compressor/limiter (controlled from the front panel), a powerful 4-band EQ with Bright and Notch filters, an Effects Loop run with mix-in filter, a floating balanced XLR output with Speaker Simulator, Ground Lift and Post/pre EQ filter. The instrument input jack offers Phantom Power output that makes it possible to power an active bass or a single EBS Black Label Pedal.
The EBS HD360 is entirely Made in Sweden and is expected to be shipping in July priced at £1086 RRP.
