Our Video Reference Guide for the Martin MAC Aura PXL's Internal FX Macros

Announced last year, the Martin MAC Aura PXL is the latest addition to the industry-renowned MAC Aura family known for their workhorse reliability, robust design, speed and versatility.  The Aura PXL is bigger and brighter than a MAC Aura, and features significantly higher intensity and a tighter beam than a MAC Quantum Wash.  With 141 Aura backlight LEDs and 19 Main Beam LEDs, the PXL is also the first wash light to accept multi-source video input, including Martin's own P3 video protocol. In this particular blog however we are going to take a look at its plethora of internal FX macros by way of of a complete video reference guide.

The MAC Aura PXL has a rich feature set of internal FX macros allowing maximum versatility even when time is of the essence.  We have created a video reference library with quick links so you can check out the effects and open that creative flare. These clips are designed to provide an insight into what pre-built effects macros are available, and please note that each effect can also have speed, colour, zoom range & output level manipulated simultaneously. Both the Aura and the Main Beam effects can be active at the same time.

There are six categories of Macros in the PXL - Beam Intensity FX, Beam Colour FX, Aura Intensity FX, Aura Colour FX, Beam and Aura Combined FX,  and Full Fixture FX.  We have created a YouTube video for each category, time-stamped in the YouTube description with each individual effect.
