The ERA 150 features a redesigned light engine/optical system that offers twice the brightness of its predecessor, the Rush MH6, in an equally as compact and lightweight package. Powered by 7 x 40W RGBW LEDs, the ERA 150 delivers a class-leading, 3900 lumen output for long throw applications whilst maintaining a smooth, soft edge and an even wash field throughout the zoom range.

With an improved pan/tilt motor system, the ERA 150 is capable of both quick and snappy stage effects as well as slow and smooth theatre washes – all with whisper-quiet operation. With an increased down-tilt angle compared to the Rush MH6, the ERA 150 is also much more versatile with a greater angle of operation - especially when combined with its improved mechanical zoom range from 4.2° to 58°. Combine narrow zoom with fast movement for striking mid-air effects or slow and smooth movement with wide zoom for huge, rich, and uniform washes.
The ERA 150 features Martin’s full-gamut colour calibration system which allows consistent colour reproduction from fixture to fixture as well as a dedicated colour temperature control channel for adjusting the colour space from the desired colour temperature. In the default mode, the white point is set to 6000k, but the extended colour mode allows for higher colour saturation and a white point set to 10000k for maximum possible lumen output. Combined with the same colour mixing experience as the legendary MAC family, users familiar to Martin’s excellence in this field will feel right at home when setting white balance and operating colour mixing on the ERA 150.
As well Martin’s unique colour calibration, the ERA 150 also offers advanced colour options including a CTC control from 1800k to 12850k as well as Tungsten Emulation mode that automatically sets the colour space to 2800k for that classic warming decay effect that many lighting designers crave and theatres demand. You can also turn that effect On or Off per cue using the Control Channel for more versatility during lighting design.

The ERA 150 is a workhorse moving head wash fixture for touring, festivals, corporate events, as well as theatre thanks to its ultra-quiet theatre mode with whisper-quiet operation at 33dB. The Scene Capture mode allows you to store particular looks into the fixture’s memory that will be recalled when the unit is powered up and the DMX is not present, or if it stops receiving DMX signal. This is if the ERA 150 needs to go to a particular state during start up or if you want to use the moving heads without a controller.
