Bristol City Football Club marked its promotion to the Championship by installing a brand new sound system at its Ashton Gate stadium. The installation relies on two BSS Soudnweb London networking systems that control the nine Crown CTs2000 amplifiers with USP3/CN PIP cards.
Ashton Gate Stadium also hosts large music events, so the installed system is designed to be incorporated into PA systems brought in for such occasions. Sounds Commerical also installed a DJ booth in the the Dolman Stand and supplied the club with a selection of AKG in-ear monitors and microphones.
Sounds Commercial won the contract to design, install and commission the new system. Their chief engineers found Crown CTs2000 amplifiers perfect for this application, delivering plenty of reliable power, offering an independent selection of high and low impedance for specific channels and also providing the speaker circuit fault monitoring functionality required, as Sounds Commerical system has to comply with BS5839 part 8, BS7827.
