The Martin ERA 800 is the last of the ERA Performance series, announced at LDI in November, to become available, with the remainder of the range which consists of the warm and cold versions of the ERA 400 and the ERA 600 Performance.
Compact and lightweight, the new ERA 800 Performance is the brightest profile moving head Martin has ever produced. Brighter than a Viper, the ERA 800 features super crisp optics, full curtain framing, and vibrant CMY colour mixing matched to the MAC range.
Additional key benefits include 1:8 zoom, electronic dimming and strobe, full CMY colour mixing and separate colour wheel, variable colour temperature control, animation wheel, iris for beam adjustment and fixed and rotating gobo wheels, loaded with user-favorite gobos from the renowned Martin MAC range that include a wide variety of effects, especially when combined with the two included rotating prisms and soft and heavy frost filters.
The ERA 800 Performance includes a full curtain framing system that offers lighting designers a high degree of flexibility to achieve precise looks on stage. When fully focused, gobos can be nicely framed with a soft edge, and each of the four framing blades can cross the entire beam independently for a full blackout.
The entire system can rotate 120 degrees, allowing designers to direct light exactly where they want it to go and achieve unique movement effects not otherwise possible. Perfect for big, stadium-sized stage and live productions, the Martin ERA 800 Performance is ideal for a long list of scenarios, requiring an extremely bright, yet truly versatile LED profile that offers near limitless design and usage potential.
