MusicRadar have recently reviewed the latest portable PA offering form JBL Professional, the IRX ONE. The review offers some great insights into its durability and compact design, whilst noting the impressive sound for the price point that the system sits within.
The reviewer was particularly impressed with the design and portability of the speaker, stating "JBL should be applauded for its thoughtful design and execution of the IRX ONE. I don’t think I’ve come across a system so easy and sleek that I had it set up and running within three minutes of getting it out of the box."
It's also noted how easy it is to deploy thanks to its low weight of 15.5kg and the ergonomic handle, which is comfortable to hold.
The reviewer notes an impressive amount of features that are available at this price point and whilst there are some features which have not been included, the IRX ONE delivers exceptional sound quality and benefits from such a low weight thanks to this - "The sound quality is truly excellent, and the C-shaped line array offers fantastic coverage, which truly fills the room with a max offering of 118 dB."
Overall, the reviewer was very impressed with the IRX ONE and whilst they felt it could offer a little more in terms of control, they summarised with "If making life easier and preserving the lifetime of your back is important to you, I would advise against overlooking this effort from JBL. An inconspicuous, fantastically priced and great-sounding workhorse, the IRX ONE is an easy recommendation."
