Sound Technology Ltd, HARMAN distributor in the UK/ROI, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Strachan to the newly established role of Live Sound Project Engineer.

With a remit to demonstrate and develop awareness of HARMAN’s new generation of JBL, Soundcraft, AKG, Crown, Lexicon and dbx products for the professional live sound industries, the appointment strengthens Sound Technology’s technical team, bringing specific industry technical knowledge in-house, and providing local UK support in addition to HARMAN’s European and Global teams.

Stuart brings experience of live sound projects at some of the UK’s most famous venues including Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park. His breadth of experience includes music gigs, corporate product launches, West End theatre, sports events and large-scale orchestral broadcasts. Stuart joins most recently from a role as an Academy Music Group technical manager.

Stuart will be at PLASA Focus in Leeds on 12th/13th May to meet customers and clients on the Sound Technology Ltd stand (N-A11).Stuart will also present a seminar at the show entitled “A Crossover Point Isn’t What You Think It Is“ at 4:15pm on Tuesday 12th May.
