Steve Winwood chooses the Nord C2D Combo Organ
Steve Winwood takes delivery of Nord C2D in preparation for tour with Steely Dan.
"The Nord C2D is the most adaptable keyboard I’ve ever come across." he says. "It can be a tone-wheel organ, a vintage euro organ, a pipe organ or two attached, programable midi keyboards, all of which I make use of at various times, and its internal sounds are infinitely useable".
Washburn Heritage and Woodline series product videos now online
Since their release earlier this year at the Winter NAMM show, the Woodline and Heritage Series of acoustic guitars from Washburn have been a hot topic of discussion. With outstanding reviews, unquestionable good looks and attractive pricing, the new series have been a success amongst guitarists. We are pleased to announce the release of a selection of product videos highlighting these fantastic new series.
Featuring an initial 16 new models with four body shapes across the range, the Heritage 10 series guitars feature mahogany back and sides, the Heritage 20 series rosewood back and sides, the Heritage 30 series tamo ash back and sides and the Heritage 40 series flame maple back and sides.

The Woodline Series feature solid wood tops with scalloped-X bracing, maple binding and come in dreadnought (D) or orchestra (O) body styles. Woodline 10 Series guitars feature mahogany back, sides and neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, diecast tuners and a custom sound hole rosette. The Woodline 20 Series feature rosewood back and sides and the addition of black bridge pins and Ebonite tuning buttons.

From the Pro world: Indigo at the O2 installs twin Soundcraft Vi7000 consoles
Freelance house sound engineer, Matt Valentine, was one of the people involved in specifying the consoles. “The Vi7000 is an incredibly user-friendly desk,” he stated. “For a lot of inexperienced engineers coming through we provide a ‘three minute overview’ because the desk works in channel strips and it’s so visual … there’s not page after page in the background to trip you up.”
