Soundcraft and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd are please to announce the first in a series of 'Mixing with Professionals Live' events at the Soundcraft Studer factory in Hertfordshire on December 18th 2009.
Learn more about using Soundcraft Digital Consoles in the real world, at this series of half-day events. Spend some quality time with Deep Purple's FOH engineer, Gert Sanner, and hear what he has to say about using the Soundcraft Vi6 digital console on tour.
'It's my weapon of choice'
This half-day event will help you learn more about actually using the Soundcraft Vi Series for live sound mixing, and be priviledged to hear Gert's anecdotes about using the Vi Series on tour with Deep Purple, his love for the desk, and how he uses it in the pressure environment of mixing one of the world's biggest bands.
Learn how to use the desk in the ways that a manual just can't teach you.
You'll also get a chance to look around our hi-tech factory and see how we make these incredible consoles, a light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Who should attend?
The event is open to professionals wanting to either learn more about the Soundcraft Vi Series digital console, or those making the transition from analogue to digital desks. New engineers joining the business will obviously also benefit from the time spent with Gert.
