Sound Technology Ltd, UK/ROI distributor for HARMAN Professional Solutions audio brands including JBL, AKG and Soundcraft are exhibiting at BVE at Excel in London on the 28th February - 2nd March, where a number of products will be making their first UK appearances.
The Studer Micro is a compact and flexible broadcast mixer that is ideal for a variety of applications, from radio and TV broadcast to production studios and ENG/DSNG.
Comprised of the core unit, graphical user interface and optional fader control surface, the Studer Micro combines renowned Studer quality with intuitive features, such as AoIP, Lexicon effects processing and proprietary VoiceMix automatic mixing for unprecedented value and versatility.
Every function of the core unit can be controlled via the intuitive graphical user interface and for broadcasters who want tactile control, the optional fader module is a highly simplified 6-fader surface that provides streamlined controls for quick level adjustments and multitasking during live operation.
Announced last month, the JBL 705P and 708P are powered versions of the 7 Series master reference monitor range, which have found success in post and broadcast applications since its release in 2015.
These new powered versions feature the same patent-pending Image Control Waveguide that provides an acoustically seamless transition between the woofer and high-frequency transducer and a wide sweet spot with increased sonic detail and neutral on- and off-axis frequency response.
Onboard DSP-based room equalisation compensates for acoustic issues in any room, delivering the most accurate sound reproduction.
The JBL Intonato 24 is the industry’s most comprehensive solution for easy set up, precise automated calibration, and complete control of monitoring systems in stereo, surround, and immersive audio production rooms.
Housed in a 2U rack-mount enclosure and shipping with more included I/O than any monitoring control solution available today, Intonato 24 can calibrate and control systems of up to 24 speakers with customised recallable routing of up to 24 sources selected from 24 dedicated analogue, 24 digital and 256 networked audio sources, including DanteTM.
Included software and an optional Desktop Controller put the system’s powerful monitoring features at your fingertips, and take control room monitoring to the next level. While Intonato 24 was designed as the hub of JBL’s new 7 Series installed reference monitor system, the unit can be used with any passive or powered speaker.
AKG’s MicroLite series of miniature wearable reference microphone offer incredible sound quality and durability in a tiny, discreet form factor.
