Delivering professional performance at the most affordable price points, the JBL LSR3 Series Powered Studio Monitors are first to incorporate JBL’s exciting new technology, the Image Control Waveguide. In conjunction with 3 Series high-performance transducers and system components, the Image Control Waveguide lets you hear detail and depth in recordings as you've never heard before.

Followingtheir JBL LSR305 and LSR310S reviews last month, Future Music review the JBL LSR308 monitors in the latest issue of the magazine. They are praised, in particular, for being ‘great value for money', having ‘excellent low-end extension’ and that they are ‘capable of very high volumes’.

“The first thing that struck me was the sheer depth of the low-end here. The spec sheet shows that the 308s can go as deep as 37Hz. There is no doubt that this can certainly be used as a ‘full range’ system and I would go as far as to say that they could be run without JBL’s optional powered sub.

“After playing a good amount of material that I’m very familiar with (and continuously switching between other monitors) I can safely say these sound very good”.

“These would be ideal for someone looking for something with a good deal of low-end extension and the ability to go a little louder than other monitors”.

The full review can be found in the September 2014 issue of Future Music magazine on sale now. The JBL 308 monitors are also available now at £219 RRP inc VAT each.
